Description
The original plan was to spend the bulk of the day half way up a mountain to photo an Osprey family as the fledglings get ready to leave the nest. The plan changed rapidly as we witnessed the initial wildfire begin and then spent the rest of the time waiting for the waterbombers to start their dump runs over the wildfire as it grew rapidly. Fantastic pilots and also the fantastic coordinating wildfire emergency team. An afternoon I will remember for a long time.
